What is Play Therapy?

Play therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses play as a means for children to express their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. It helps children process emotions, develop coping strategies, and enhance their social skills in a safe environment. By engaging in play, children can communicate what they might not be able to express verbally making it an effective tool for addressing various emotional and behavioural challenges. This method not only supports children's mental health but also fosters their overall development.
